We were so busy watching ‘Yes Minister’ DVDs that we forgot about the fireworks – and the New Year coming in. It’s soooo exciting being old. D and O are doing exams this week too, but I’m the one that’s stressed about them.

Here in Vatoville, we listen to the mexicans shoot guns into the air in celebration of the new year. It’s against the law, of course (a child was killed as a result of this stupid practice), and it’s not real fun hunkering down under the bed for the duration, but….

My mother slept in front of the tv. I watched the movie. The mosquitoes feasted.

The Tenerife sounds supa-cool. Life in them there islands ain’t too bad if you have a good job.
