Home again.

I’ve been away in Holland for the past week and had a wonderful time in between job-hunting. The scariest thing that I did was to go cycling – I’ve never cycled in Holland before and it is scary. Using someone else’s bike with brakes that hardly work is also very scary but at least I didn’t do my usual trick of falling off. All in all it was a wonderful week with good, home cooking, fantastic company and a lot of laughter.

I’m back now to the on-going hunt for a job and now that the weather has finally started to warm up, to let Hermie out to play in the garden when the sun shines.

It’s good to be home.

    I hope you’ll find a job you like very soon! And good to hear that you enjoyed Holland so much, be careful with cycling :D
    If spring is taking to long to find it’s way to the lowlands, we’ll get it our selfs!!

    I heard the stories all the way up here in Amsterdam about the path of destruction left by your cycling attempt. the Dutch queen was even on television appealing for calm from the public. You have a lot to answer for.

    How brave of you. Was it one of those awful ‘back pedal’ bikes? Anyway, hope you feel fresh and invigorated. At least yu didn’t fall into a canal!
