Sculpture 2

I love the way Europeans adore their sculpture and this one really caught my eye near Bad Münster Eifel.

Right in the middle of a roundabout.

I have this wonderful vision of Brian Sewell driving round and round this roundabout for hours spouting forth about how this sculpture represents the subjection of women in European society.

I bet it cost the tax payers a fair sum as well.
Makes me think of the enormous (and incredibly ugly) metal boar that was erected beside the motorway between Charleville Reims which cost 300,000 euros!

Bad Munstereifel? You know which town it’s twinned with, don’t you? I’m surprised you’re even there!

I find these things on roundabouts very distracting. One could have an accident whilst one is looking at them whilst driving; know wot i mean, innit?

John G told me the news.
